Union Customs Code 01.05.16

The new Union Customs Code  (UCC) will be implemented on 01.05.16. This will replace the old Community Customs Code. Some of the changes will impact on companies importing and exporting where authorisations and guarantees are held. Please contact the EWL office for more information.

Verified Gross Mass (VGM)

From 01.07.16, shippers will be responsible for supplying the correct verified gross mass (gross weight) of a container prior to it being loaded onto a vessel.
